The Allen Community Senior Citizens Center, Inc., located at 166-01 Linden Boulevard, Jamaica, NY, has been serving the seniors of South East Queen since 1974. The program offers a variety of comprehensive services to meet the nutritional, recreational and educational needs of the program participants. At ACSCC, services are designed to increase socialization and help prevent isolation and loneliness. In keeping with the growing diversity of our senior population, ACSCC offers access to language interpretation and translation. Fresh, healthy, hot, meals are prepared daily that meet the dietary requirements as suggested by the Department for the Aging. The Greater Allen Development Corporation has built just under 1000 affordable senior housing in the South East Queens community.
