Today it was announced that Nikki Lucas, the popular District Leader of East New York, will once again join the HealthyNYC Expo, as a Community Partner.  The HealthyNYC Expo is a FREE event,  being held in East New York, Saturday September 8, 2018 at the Brooklyn Sports Club.

Lucas joins Councilman Rafael Espinal, Congressman Ed Towns, Brownsville advocate, Chris Legree, Fidelis Care, Healthfirst, Kings County Hospital, UnitedHealthcare, Tradition Home Care, MetroPlus, New York City’s Public Engagement Unit, and many more, as supporters in the second annual HealthyNYC Expo (Brooklyn).

“I was a partner of the HealthyNYC Expo last year, making sure the seniors were able to take advantage of the resources and activities that were available.  This year the event is expanding outdoors, and will include live jazz, the morning stretch, and resources like educating seniors on New York City’s Rent Freeze Program, which is important for seniors and caregivers of East New York”, stated Lucas.  “I am always happy to partner with events that support our seniors and families, and I encourage all East New York residents to experience the event for themselves.”

“We are happy to have Nikki Lucas as a partner once again”, stated Vernon Jones Sr. CEO/JIG Media, owners of the HealthyNYC Expo.   “Nikki is a true advocate for East New York’s seniors and families.  We work with Nikki on her Easter Hat Pageant and Luncheon, and we are able to see firsthand how she interacts with the seniors, in a way that is sincere.  There’s no way we would think about having an event in East New York without her involvement.”
