NYC Parks and the Walt Disney Company host the 9th Annual Street Games, a super-fun event that re-introduces classic, low-tech games played in the city in the 60s and 70s to a new generation of kids (and delights their parents and grandparents)!
Come reminisce and play favorites like stickball, hula hooping, yo-yos, double dutch and more! For the more adventurous, there will also be skateboarding clinics, a soccer skills challenge and wheelchair basketball. Or, you can relax, watch the kids have a ball and enjoy music and entertainment, including several performances by the Dance Theater of Harlem. The event is FREE, and open to all ages and abilities.
