This hands-on workshop is an introduction to documentary photography. Aldo Soligno, a professional photographer and photojournalist, will take you through a range of tips and techniques necessary to capture compelling images of people, events, and city-scapes that can be persuasive and advocate for social justice.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras, cellphones with cameras, and related equipment.
The event is a partnership between NYC Parks and More Art, a nonprofit that brings artists and communities together to create public art and educational programs that inspire social justice.
