promo251663915Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams invites you to participate in a long-term craft project: be crafty and crochet with a group dedicated to making blankets and scarves that will be donated to individuals with diabetes and kidney disease. The handmade items bring warmth and comfort to dialysis patients during treatment.
Yarn will be provided free of charge. (If you already know how to crochet, but cannot come to the class, you can still contribute by dropping off your completed blankets and scarves at Brooklyn Borough Hall; there will be a donation box in the lobby.)
The crochet group will meet every Wednesday, starting March 1, from 10 am – 12 noon, March through June, then again September through Nov. 1. To RSVP, or for more information, call: 718-802-3719.
