The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra celebrates Independence Day with swing-era classics, patriotic songs, and lesser known gems from artists like Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, and Count Basie. Crytzer and his Orchestra also will perform his original songs and arrangements composed in the vintage style. Special guests Syncopated City Dance Co. will perform with the band during select dance numbers, showing off their lindy hop and jazz routine skills to delight and transport the crowd back in time!
Limited seating is available, but you are welcome to bring folding chairs or blankets, too. And you may picnic on the grounds, although food is available for sale. Shows are rain or shine! Call the box office at (718) 368-5596 for updated location information after 4:00 p.m. on show days.
