The School of Visual Arts Theatre is presenting a special 40th anniversary presentation of the Academy Award-winning classic, “Rocky.” Directed by John G. Avildsen, the film features Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer who gets a supremely rare chance to fight the heavy-weight champion, Apollo Creed, in a bout in which he strives to go the distance for his self-respect.
This event is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open approximately 45 minutes prior to the screening. Concessions are not available for purchase at SVA Theatre. Guests are welcome to bring food and drink. Glass bottles are not permitted.
