Every summer since 2000, instructors and performers Carlos Konig and Almyra Ayos present this outdoor salsa dancing event in Central Park in the huge space in front of the Naumburg Bandshell. It’s a very nice “park dancing event” where everyone comes dressed for the summer, and people can bring friends and family. The music is almost entirely pure classic salsa plus a little cha cha played by the DJs, and everyone is invited to join in, On 1, On 2, old school, freestyle, whatever. FREE.
