Shakespeare in the Park will return to New York City this summer! The 1,800 seat outdoor Delacorte Theatre in Central Park hosts an all-female production of The Bard’s classic comedy of the sexes, The Taming of The Shrew. Free tickets are available for every public performance, with seating locations in every section of the theater. Free tickets are available in the following ways:
- In person at The Delacorte
- Downtown at Astor Place
- Online via the virtual lottery
- And through borough distributions
All performances begin at 8pm. Each person may receive up to two tickets each until all tickets are gone. There are separate lines for Senior Accessibility for senior citizens (65+). See The Public Theater website for select calendar dates.
