Flu season is amongst us, and the best way to fight the flu or prevent it all together is by making sure your loved one is eating enough fresh produce!

According to onegreenplanet.org, “Overall, as research has shown, most vegans and vegetarians are healthier than meat eaters. But to keep colds at bay, you must follow a healthy lifestyle (including sleeping enough, exercising, not smoking, learning to cope with stress) and a healthy, varied diet, which means eating more than pasta and bread every day.”

So, incorporate more greens and fruits and replace meats and carbohydrates this Winter season to ensure optimal health!
